Component Filters & Settings

Learn how to create, save, and share custom filters for Scanner and Ticker Stats components.

Accessing Filter Settings

You can customize filters for Scanner and Ticker Stats components:

  1. Locate the Settings icon on any Scanner or Ticker Stats component
  2. Click the Settings icon to open the filter configuration modal

Creating Custom Filters

Building a Filter

  1. Click "Create New Filter"
  2. Configure your filter conditions:
    • Select indicators
    • Set threshold values
    • Choose time periods
    • Add multiple conditions
  3. Name your filter for easy reference
  4. Click Save to store your filter

Managing Filters

  • Save multiple filters for different strategies
  • Edit existing filters
  • Delete unused filters
  • Share filters with the community

Default Filters

Scanner Default Filters

  1. Large Cap Market

    • Price between $15 and $100
    • Price change ≥ 5%
    • Volume ≥ 300K
  2. Small Cap Market

    • Price between $1 and $15
    • Price change ≥ 10%
    • Volume ≥ 300K

Ticker Stats Default Filters

  1. Large Cap Stats

    • Gap percent > 5%
    • Volume > 1M shares
  2. Small Cap Stats

    • Gap percent > 10%
    • Volume > 1M shares

Sharing Filters

Share your custom filters with the community:

  1. Open the Settings modal
  2. Select your filter
  3. Click the Share icon
  4. Choose sharing options:
    • Download (download the filter as a CSV file)

Applying Filters

To use a filter:

  1. Open the Settings modal
  2. Browse available filters:
    • My Filters
    • Community Filters
    • Default Filters
  3. Click "Apply" on your chosen filter
  4. The component will update to reflect the new filter settings

Filter Management Tips

  • Name filters descriptively for easy identification
  • Use tags to categorize filters
  • Test filters before sharing
  • Combine multiple filters for complex strategies
  • Regular review and update of custom filters
